I have some StudioSpares foam acoustic panels like
this.
I'd like to cover them in material to make
my studio look a bit better - but having the 'rippled' bits under the material looks a bit
odd.
I'm wondering if there is any difference acoustically to mounting the
panels, covered in material, with the flat surface (the back) facing into the room with
the rippled surface against the wall? There's 3x 50x50 panels in total - 1x on a back
wall above and behind my monitors and 2x on the ceiling above the listening position.
I have bass traps in the corners which are now covered (and the right way
round!).
Thanks.
