Hello,
Unfortunately our school music studio is going to have to move to a
smaller room over the summer holidays. This forum proved to be a valuable resource for
setting up our last studio so once again I am asking for you help.
The room is
4.6m x 3.65m. It also has a vaulted/ barrelled ceiling - which I have no idea if it is a
good or bad thing!
I have made a 3D style drawing which you can find here;

Ea6KM/editWe normally have a central mixing position which is iMac,
controller keyboard and Yamaha monitors on stands. Our other large/ important items are a
large A&H 32 channel mixing desk and a Clavinova. There is also a rack of outboard
equipment which is not used that much.
To help with acoustics I have 5 SE ghost
panels, a variety of home made (sound on sound design) bass and wall traps and a nice
comfy sofa.
We do not really need space in the room to record as we can create
a link to another music room for recording (but then again we might track one vocal/
instrument in the room now and then). Really this room is more for mixing and writing.
Hopefully that is all the information needed. Thank you in advance for any
thoughts on our setup.
Jon
