I'v decided to do the whole 'room within a room' thing to the live room of my studio for soundproofing reasons. I'm on a tight-ish budget so getting a studio designer in is not doable, Im also a bit of a handy man so I might as well do it myself

Anyway, I know what I'm doing for the soundproofing but as I am going to be building a new room it gives me a chance to get the dimensions right to make it acoustically better at the same time. Mainly with room modes in mind (I'm treating the bass and the flutter too) could anyone recommend good dimensions based on the following measurements for the current room.
Height = 10 ft 9 inch
Length = 22 foot
Width = 14 foot.
Bare in mind I'll be fitting a floating floor so thats going to take about 10 inch off the height. Also, I can make the roof slanted if thats a good idea?
Thanks in advance.
