Andy, seeing as you are about! Chrissy prezzie from the wife was a pair of
extractors to remove screws with buggered heads. Standard 7mm AF hex drive, each
about 50mm long and with a LH "dog" one end, tapered LH screw the other. They look very
well made in USA. www.boa-uk.comDave.

Cheers Dave, I've bookmarked them already on your recommendation. Crap website
though, all bells & whistles and the nitty gritty is hard to find. If I found the website
without the info you provided I wouldn't have had a clue that they offered anything
useful. Oh well, such is life these days. Andy

Heh! Yes I found that! I visited it shortly after
my post. If you have any problems ordering let me know and I will find out from The
Trouble where she got them, sure wasn't a website!
And the "other thing"? We
cool.
Dave.

Yes they are fine Red but are intended for getting out studs or screws that have
lost their heads.
The gizmos I got bite into what is left of the head and allow
it to turn out. I have not had the opportunity to try them out. Y'all be the first to know
when I do.

Got both sorts and they are ALL good.
Bought my stud extractor set t Sears in
the er um lemmesee early 1840s and still going strong.
The small small sizes
are a bit iffy on some really reluctant screws though.
