Stereo Widening

When I was trying to give a wide stereo effect to few of my songs , I found that Nero wave editor has stereo broadening option in its stereo processor under tools menu.

So does any body know that how to apply the same effect by using adobe audition cs 6 ?

In the version of Audition that I have here, you would use the Channel Mixer effect and use the Wider Stereo Field preset as a starting point. Stereo widening works by mixing each channel with the opposite channel with reversed polarity. While it can sound very seductive, don't overdo it and make sure that the end result still works in mono.
