Which one audio interface?

Hello!
Which one have a better sound quality for music creating: Emu 0404 USB or Edirol firewire FA-66 or Roland UA-55 USB or maybe M-audio 1814? Or any different external interface has higher guality for same (or nearly same) price range? Help to choose please...

Music creation is either done in the box and you only hear the results or you record your instruments in and in that case the signal path itself would affect sound quality.

You've picked a rather random choice of interfaces there (in regards to features and I/O) what exactly do you need and wish to achieve in your music proudction?

I.e. are you recording a full band at the same time or an instrument at a time? Are you only working in the box and simply need a playback solution?

Most of these units have reviews in this here mag, not to mention many others. It would be worth your time reading them, I'd suggest. Try here, to start with.

My complectation: Notebook (4 and 6 pin FireWire and USB 2.0 exits + Windows Vista 32 + Native Instruments) + 1 midi keyboard-controller (Impulse 61) + pair of studio monitors (Adam a5) + 1 headphones (AKG K240). In home studio I want to audit in live and record 3 thеse objects in same time: 1 vocal mic (Shure SM-58 or any one different Audio Techinica studio mic) + acoustic guitar hi-z mic + midi. Optical in/out - opcional. I have about 150 pounds. Which interface has a best sound detalization and accuracy for my parameters?

If you need 3 or more xlr connectors with decent gain for mics/guitar at that price point then you'll probably want to be looking at something like the Akai EIE I/O, as most interfaces unders £200 only come with 2 of those inputs.
