I don't know whether to laugh, or hang my head in despair. Pop truly did eat
itself - now it's the morning after.

Ohshit so that's 17 years of learning "complicated music theory" and all that "nonsense"
down the drain.

I'm dismayed to see the nature of fellow posters' comments - I always considered SoS to be
a bastion of considered advice and discussion in a sea of lesser fora, yet there is almost
unanimous scepticism and negativity concerning what appears to be a truly revonlutionary
piece of software. I can only assume that it is predicated on the genuine fear that it
render many of us obsolete and hence ruin our livelihoods and/or beloved hobbies I am therefore looking forward to reading a proper review in a forthcoming issue of SoS,
which I trust will maintain the usual open-minded standard of objectivity we've all come
to respect. And I agree with Ken; hopefully we will also get to hear some of Hugh's "sick
beatz" as a tie-in to the feature

Actually the software looks pretty good - if it was ported to iOS and sold for much less,
say 69p. The advert has got to be a p*ss take.

I think the target audience is clarified by considering the claim that the software costs
'about the same as a fancy dinner for two'.

That's 6 quid at our best chippy - I'm not paying that for drum patterns that are
medically unwell!

Doesn't the NHS have enough to deal with?
I propose healthy, well balanced
beats based on sound clinical and economic principles.
(I feel we're about to
adjourn to the lounge. Port and cigars, anyone?)

Well it is from the USA, so what would anyone expect, from the home of Spam - it surprises
me that they don't add it will make your hair grow back, cure ingrowing toe-nails, make
your teeth sparkling white, give your sex life extra prowess, give you x-ray night vision,
cure bad breath......etc etc etc

I
just got back from a week in New Jersey, the TV ads for anything medical have to list all
the possible side effects. so you get this litany of unpleasant possibilities, 89% of
which are worse than what you're setting out to cure. I'm amazed anybody buys remedies
over there, the potential consequences seem so dire.
