Ok, so reading this http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jun06/articles/voxrecording.htm
recommendation is winter duvets doubled up to help deal with low end for a basic DIY vocal
setup. My question is, just how effective would this really be? I understand they'll help
to an extent, but is it worth getting a couple of bass traps to deal with the low end
properly? Obviously, that is going to be a better solution, but what I mean is, would I
get significantly better results doing this or would it be fairly marginal? Maybe I could
just dump a couple of rolled up duvets in the corners to help with the bass...
At the moment I record acoustic guitar and vocals only. With acoustics guitars, a lot of
the bottom end is going to be rolled off anyhow. I also have an instrument reflection
filter from SE.
Thanks in advance,
