Audient "scrappage scheme"
      #785055 - 05/11/09 06:45 PM

Probably not of enormous interest but I thought I'd pass on the news that Audient are offering to buy your old mixer, any make, any condition, for £2,000 provided you buy a new ASP8024 console.

Its probably worth mentioning that the Audient desk is around £20k's worth to begin with
Still, £2k off! Mustn't grumble..

The Audient lists at about £20K, but I have never heard of anyone paying list anyway.....

Now if you can put that 2K toward whatever price your supplier is quoting, then fine, but if it is just 2K off list then frankly you can hammer that with a few phone calls to local dealers for a major purchase like that (somewhere between 15 and 40% or so off list is typical if you have a relationship with the dealer).

Regards, Dan.

Yes. I would never pay more than about 80% of the list anyway. Now if this is 2k on top of what the dealer is prepared to do then it's a VERY good deal on a very good desk. If it's just 2k off list then I'm afraid it's just a marketing ploy. The product is amazing at the end of the day.
