iTunes question (yawn)

I just picked up the old Rykodisc version of Hunky Dory and it won't load into iTunes... or Media Player... or soundforge. My laptop just doesn't like this disc (no accounting for taste) The disc is in perfect nick. I had no problem loading Alice in Chains' Dirt and that disc is older.

1. poopsayer.

2. it might be one of those early attyempts at stopping copying. I have a few that are like that - they just won't read in a CDR.

Yes, it could well be CD protection. You could always play it through a CD player with S/PDIF etc, and re-record. Bit of a ball-ache though.

I had the same problem with an Anastacia album. That had the ultimate copy-protection - it wasn't very good and no one wanted to copy it.

I guess not. Ah, it don't matter. I'll just do it the old fashioned way... learning the whole record by heart and playing it at parties.
