Cubase 6 note expression
      #986345 - 08/05/12 03:01 PM
I'm really struggling to learn this. My book (Simon Milward) confuses me and my teacher doesn't have V6 of Cubase. I've found two Youtube tutorials that confuse me further. Can anyone help?

Skype is a great aid to learning if anyone can teach me..... willing to pay......

I looked this up the other day and it seems like something that you don't really need to be worrying about at the moment. It is new to C6, so I've not used it and whilst I can see that it has some potential uses, it isn't really that important in composing and making music.

Hello again
It's really important to my kind of composing - lots of glissandos etc etc

Hello
Just tried to follow your botto link thank you Richie Royale....

Why do his notes have expression lines when mine do not? What is 'breath'?

Need a real live teacher who can hear my questions.....

I know nothing about Cubase, however, the thing that I found helpful in learning about the DAW I use was proper video tutorials not just clips EXAMPLE I was fortunate enough to have a pal give me a folder with a couple in so they or on my HDD and I refer to them all the time. They have several short focused clips often with practice projects that allow you to try the steps along with the VT. The one I have linked to was found at random there are probably good one and not so good ones. they can be got on ebay and probably sourced in other ways it is not appropriate to mention.

Using these may be a good start, may help you formulate questions for the wealth of knowledge that is on here or for a Skype tutor when you find one.
