DPA 4052 in ORTF?? can it be?

Hello,
i have been looking at getting two good omni mic's. The bumpf on the DPA 4052 says it's good for ORTF configuration. It seems anomalous to me...have i missed something? any thoughts?

I'm looking to increase options for choirs, orchestra, small acoustic ensemble, piano etc.

Well I have no idea why they talk about ORTF, but generally speaking it's not "wrong" to use 2 omni microphones spaced by 17 cm and with a 110 degree angle.
