Quick introduction to Logic

Good morning all, Ive recently "gone Mac" (OSX Mountain Lion) and bought Logic Express 9
off eBay for £20. It's great... Now I can import my ipad Garagaband songs and have full
DAW control over them. But I'm used to Reaper (on PC) - can anyone recommend a good "quick
start" guide for me? Things like zooming in and out, applying different mix parameters to
different parts of the song etc. ps I did a search for logic introduction on this forum
but nothing much jumped out. Thanks!

Hey Richard
Youtube is great for this. When I moved to Logic I got some good
tips and tricks from watching SFLogicninja etc on there.
T
PS -
Just to add. Much of the tips and tricks are for LogicPro 9 on YT but I believe Logic
Express 9 is much the same programme.

I've got one of the David Nahmani books, and while it's OK I never found it as useful as
online vids - mainly because it's targeted at a different way of making music than I
prefer. It does come with a disc of project files though, which are handy to fiddle with
rather than destroying your own work-in-progress!
I also used some vids from
ASK Video (who I think have changed hands now) that were pretty good. Lots of info, clear
delivery, arranged neatly into short sections - nice and handy.
