Logic: EXPORT audio Vs(difference) Bounce(24bit) new

Have an audio file, in a current track, I want to use this specific file in some other projects..

What is the difference between if I "export" @ 24 bits
or
bounce @ 24 bits

...I have the dither option with bounce, does export preserve the file somehow or something, without adding dither..
I dont fully understand why two options..

Export would be used if you have multiple tracks ready for export - bouncing each one would take much longer. But yes, for one track, they do the same other than the dither options, I believe.
