Opinions of UAD-2 Satellite

I'm just wondering if the UAD-2 Satellite is any good for use with a MacBook Pro?

Can it only run it's own software or can it take the load from my AU plug-ins currently installed for use with Logic?

UAD Cards run UAD plugins only.

UAD plugins happen to be almost uniformly excellent, but obviously, apart from the plugins you get with a UAD card, you have to buy them separately.
