Upgrade: DP 4.61 to...not quite the latest & greatest
      #1065424 - 07/09/13 08:18 PM
I've been running Digital Performer 4.6 for (obviously) years. There a couple of features on DP 5 that I'm interested in.

Without upgrading my hardware or OS (see below) - which I'm not inclined to do - it looks like 5.1 is as far as I can go.

Given that we're on DP 8 now, how would I go about doing this? The upgrade path is years old, and overgrown...

Thanks!

I'm in the US, but I adapted your suggestion and contacted Sweetwater over here. Thanks!

Sweetwater sent me directly to MOTU (which is probably where I should've started ), who got back to me in 15 minutes. The answer, if anybody else ever wants to know, is:

Quote:

"The best way to do this is to actually upgrade you to DP 8, but include the DP 5 disk with your order. The price of the upgrade would be $195."

And now I know.
