I have for the first time recently been presented with the "audio configuration is
corrupted" error message.
This is brand new to me as opposed to "the 32 bit bridge
has taken a personal dislike to me"
Now I do tend to always push my system right to
It's a bit like that old adage, the more money you have the more you'll
It is intensely frustrating to have repeated crashes on this project within
And a slight fear of the what if.......
I've deleted preferences, fade
And unfortunately not found the smoking gun to this issue.
is without doubt through my observations that the undo history is an implicit link to this
And that this issue is probably a result of going beyond the limits of what
Logic is comfortable with regarding memory allocation, whether that be plugin
instanciation, samples loaded or the number of regions/ audio files and undo history
The removal of the audio configuration window which might potentially lead to
a repair is dissapointing.
I don't discount a 3rd party conflict when dealing with
the outer limits of my system.
I do wish however Apple could define a pre warning
system, one which is realistic and not too overly pre-emptive.
I guess the work
around is to not be so expansive with ones creative possibilities
say generally I have always used and loved Logic since the old Creator / Notator days
