How do I Resume a halted Download?
      #997073 - 10/07/12 09:27 PM
Hi there,

I have been downloading the NI Abbey Rd Drummer series. One of the downloads (80s drummer) stopped (4.37 of 7.82 GB).
When I press the orange button on the downloads tab to resume, the download bar says......" Preparing to Download", but never gets beyond that. Then after about a minute it displays..... "The request timed out."

I've tried starting the download again from scratch but that stopped after 2.65GB.

When I was downloading the other parts of the series I could resume after stops no problem.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you may have to download it again. It should continue where it left off providing you don't change the file name or location.

Did you use the same browser on all occasions? It might make a difference.

You are probably hitting the limit of what your browser can handle. Browsers typically cannot download very large files.

I suggest investing in a download manager, I use this one:
