I'll be honest and say that all it seemed to do (in my use anyway) was increase the
latency, had better performance results with it switched off.
Yes, through doing
that it probably is a hell of a lot less susseptable to pops and clicks when recording or
for playback though.
I guess its some kind of buffer with an internal clock source.
Probably a great idea to turn it on for recording (if you dont need to monitor
through the sequencer) and for broadcast / live shows, if the slightly increased latency
isn't an issue.
