I'm looking for a reverb plug in that let's you place the sound in the stereo spectrum. I
think it's so you can make it sound cool on headphones. Anyone have any idea what it might
be called or who makes it?

There are many ways to place the sound in the stereo field. Do you know about the Haas
effect etc? Reverb gives depth to a sound.
What are you after exactly?
Post some examples for us to listen to.

Sorry I should be more clear:
There is a plug in that I can't remember the name
of.
It models a room and gives you a 3D model of the room. You can move the
sound around the room with a little sphere. I just can't remember the name or the company
that makes it.

Thank you. I think the waves one is the one I was thinking of. They all look good though.
Have you, or anyone else tried any of these?

I gotta ask
... does this little sphere help you only move it around the room left <--> right,
or does it move it closer and farther away too?

I think the point is so that you can move it to any point in the room on head phones.
Left/right up down forwards backwards

If you can stretch to it, the Flux IRCAM Tools Spat is pretty amazing (and not just on
headphones).

Hi Natural Dissolve! I've only just noticed that although you mentioned 'Waves'
the product being linked to above is from 'Wave Arts', in which case I actually reviewed
it for SOS way back in August 2006: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug06/articles/powersuite.htm It can be very effective,
particularly with beyond the speakers, near/far, and doppler moving effects that can make
you queazy, and there's a 30-day fully functional demo, so it's well worth a try in my
opinion. Martin
