Is it possible to program Cubase synths to produce strange psy trance sounds or should I look for some other VSTi's like Komplete 9?How capable are Prologue,Mystic,Spector,Monologue,Embracer?Any opinion/experience welcome.I use Cubase 6.Thanks.

Cubase's synths are as capable as you are of creating sounds with them. I can't think of any style of music that couldn't be played with the combination of synths you've listed - it's just down to how you work with them.

Maybe you should try the KVR Audio One Synth Challenge.

People are making all kinds of stuff with only one synthesizer.

Not if you want to sound like the Swedish House Mafia, apparently
