Reformating and Installing XP on a VISTA Laptop

Hi all

I have a laptop which I want to set up for audio. I have a main PC which I use do most of my audio on, but I want to get the laptop set up for mobile use, etc.

I've formatted/re-installed Windows several times before and am comfortable with the process......but Ive never done it on a laptop. What I am unclear on is what I need to get drivers for, and whether they are as easy to get as they are for PCs. I'd also like to hear about anything else I need to consider which makes doing this on a laptop different to a PC.

Any help would be great.
