standalone lightweight tap tempo application for XP32?
      #785593 - 08/11/09 04:14 AM

Is there such a beast? Just something that will tell me the bpm when I bang on the spacebar on my non-music PC...

That second link to the one by AnalogX is a good one Ryan - just downloaded it myself!

Heheh,

Acturly the Analog X one is pretty handy, and i've used it in the past. My cheekyness aside i'm stuck behind a firewall and I can't see that link as it appears to be blocked for some reason (our filters pretty random over here through) and I didn't want to post a link without knowing it was safe. If Martins got a working copy from there through then all good

Hardy hardy har, a link to a google search.

Having recently gravitated to the dark (mac) side, my google search ( 'windows "tap tempo"' ), which of course I tried before posting, failed to throw up the analogx link, probably because I included the word "windows".

Anyways, I'll try it. (I remember analogx's "sayit" pitiful speech synth from a decade ago....)
