Attack Magazine: Fxpansion DCAM Dynamics

FXpansion’s Discrete Component Analog Modelling series was launched back in 2009 with the release of the Synth Squad bundle – a collection of three circuit-modelled synths which was an instant hit thanks to its high quality, authentically analogue sound. The range was expanded earlier this year with the release of Etch and has now grown further with the addition of DCAM Dynamics, which aims to do for compression what Synth Squad did for synthesis and Etch did for filtering.

Audio Desk Review: D16 Group Lush-101

Whenever I get stuck for ideas I often will open up the most easy to use, basic and analog sounding synth I have at the time. As much as I love electronic music, without good raw synth sounds it doesn't quite hold my interest. I love electronic sounds and synths like Lush get me right back to the basics. They make you appreciate again exactly what is the square wave and the saw wave in their raw simplicity.
