Well, I thought that members here might be interested in the fact that for a second
straight year, Mike Portnoy has won "Best Drummer" in DRUM! Magazine's 17th Annual
Drummies. He also took "Best Prog Drummer" as well. The Drummies are comprised of more
than 40 categories. So, here's a link to all the winners. http://www.drummagazine.com/about/press-releases/portnoy-back-to-back-drum

WOW!!! Anything to do with Portnoy's Complaint by Philip Roth? That was a good
book. The only reason I ask is that drummers would know the result from DRUM Magazine, so
I wondered why you thought it worth bringing up here. Any connection perchance? Andy

Awesome. Congrats to him - a deserving winner.
I do like a bit of DT.
Edit: Glad to see Taylor Hawkins scooped an award too.

Panic Attack's drum track on RockBand is hard. That's all I'll say. Mind you, the bass
part is pretty tough too - still haven't quite got that right. One of these days I'll
master plastic instruments...!
