Hi there, I've been using logic for a while and i'm looking for some higher quality
3rd party EQ's and compressors and I would like to get some feed back on some possible
choices. I'm thinking of going with Sonnox Oxford EQ and Dynamics, isotope Ozone 5
or The Sonoris mastering compressor. These would be for mixing and mastering. Anyone
have any opinions on this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sonnox is a nice little strip. SSL have a couple of real tasty plugin (I use the Duende
Native Strip) and don't disregard the G-Comp. I also like URS, Sonalkisis (great products
but deadpan) and my range of 'coloured' processors goes to Softube. The Trident A, Tsar-1
and the Spring Reverb get my vote. The FET Comp is okay but there are betters out there.

I can't imagine you'd be displeased with any of those.
For others, it kinda
depends on what sort of material you're working with... but my most recent favourite toy
is the Kush UBK-1 compressor/saturator.

cheers. I'll check some of those as well. I've been really trying to find whats best
for me. A lot of the music I work with is quite varied so I want both transparency and
coloration, clarity and warmth.

The Fabfilter Pro-Q and Pro-C are both excellent, as is the Eiosis Air EQ.

For transparency
and clarity I will second the Fabilter Pro-Q, its really intuative to use as well

I find iZotope Ozone is very good if, like me, you're not very good.
