Hi

I'm looking for a four or eight channel pre-amp for location work that has at least two balanced outputs per channel. The second (and third) o/ps can be on D-subs.

Other than the Grace M801 and Aphex 1788 which are coming in at £4k, I haven't found anything else.

£1k for four channels would be a feasible target.

Focusrite ISA428 has two balanced outs ( you can use the insert send as a balanced out) but may be a tad above budget.

The Midas XL48 is an 8 channel pre-amp with parallel outs.

1490 euros from Thomann.
