Production/mixing lessons
      #1039788 - 25/03/13 06:25 PM
Had a fantastic mixing lesson with The Elf yesterday, for anyone who's been thinking about taking the plunge and getting one on one mentoring I would highly recommend him. The amount that you can pick up in even just 3-4 hours is amazing and can be the difference between sort of just about grasping something after watching a video online and that little lightbulb coming on in your brain! Again anyone who's wondering whether it's worth it my advice is go for it

Hope that mix is starting to sound something like you hoped for now, Dave.

And never forget that hat!

It's sounding brilliant now, really nicely balanced and i'm keen to start using some of those tips - i particularly like the one for the plosives!
I'll defo bear the hat in mind, that would do wonders for my experience so i really appreciate that offer

Thanks for the interest guys.

I will contact both of you directly by email to stay within SOS forum rules and etiquette. Hope that's OK.

I will note your email addresses and ask that a mod remove your addresses from this thread to prevent the risk of you becoming spam bait.

Chaps, this kind of communication is best done via the Private Mail (PM) facility within the forum itself. It allows direct, private communication without exposing your personal email addresses to the outside world.

Just click on the user name of the person concerned, which will open a profile page for them, and in the bottom left hand corner you'll see an option to send them a private message.
