Can you recommend a good Audio PC Company?
      #1040777 - 01/04/13 05:02 PM
I would stick this in the PC section but there's not a massive amount of traffic going through there so please accept my apologies!

So far I've only really looked at PC Specialist who can do a nicely powerful system (i5/ 16GB RAM/ twin 1TB HDs) for under a grand but is there anywhere else people can recommend.

Budget is really sub £1000 because I have a load of other stuff to get.

Fanks!

INTA Audio did the studio PC here and it has worked perfectly since day one. I had a slightly noisy CPU fan and they shipped a new one to me without any fuss. Very happy with their service and the machine. At the time they had the best price for the system I required. I would buy from them again without any doubts in mind. They also installed custom request components, I wanted a Seasonic X series PSU and they popped it in no bother.

I've been very happy with the PCs that Scan have built for me over the past number of years. Our own forum hero Pete Kaine is the chap to speak to.

I've had good and bad experiences buying from even reputable specialists. I've only had good ones building my own machines! Personally, I'd advocate building your own at that price - you'll get a faster processor and more RAM for the same money. But if you're happy to pay for a decent service and you want after sales support, then Pete and Robin on these forums both know their stuff.

Where are you based btw?
