Who's used one in anger? I'm thinking as a live tool it would be great but how good is VP technology for recording?

Does it sound good..ish?

Any downsides?

I seem to remember chatting to Zukan about this beast and, I may have remembered this wrong, but I think he did some work on the library.

I do know that it's a marmite unit - the people who have them love them.

I liked it a lot. I seem to remember I did a big VP9000 user tips thread on the previous forum, but I can't find it anywhere now. Is the old forum archived anywhere?
