JT - Tunnel Vision main bass

Hi guys, i'm new here so can anybody help me to create that main bass sound from Tunnel Vision by JT?
This loop is playing during the whole song

Well I can just heard a sub bass every 2 bars or so with the odd passing note - nothing too challengin really - it's just to add some bass to the tune. The drums are doing most of the work.

I mean how to create that main bass melody. I have Mac & Logic and a lot of VSTi. For example, i'm trying to create a basic sine wave with a bit of distortion (maybe it's wrong) but i don't know what else should be added to this. I'm new in synth programming so if you know what exactly i need (distort,adsr or w/e) to create this sound please help.

I'd look at some of the ESX24 sub bass patches
