i think this subject has been discussed a lot previously here.but to make it quick, a lot of it comes from analog compressors, tape saturation technics and sometimes even using distortion. a lof of that sound also comes back to drum kit tunning and setup, mic placement and room accoustics and IMPORTANTly the drummer himself.

in digital world of today, that sound is usually [and fakely] reproduced by using analog simulated compressor and channel strip plugins. you will also need to EQ your source befor going into the compressor since certain frequencies will begin to popup and get loud when compressed heavily. usually you cut and decreas low frequencies, and boost of some of tops ot keep your source sound still clear after it's been compressed heavily.

some trick which won't give you exactly the same, but same kind of feeling, is to let your analog mixer peamps distort a little bit on your drum mics. playing around with this kind of clipping sometimes give you wonderful results. otherwise, you need racks of analog devices and a whole analog studio!

Simple distortion plugins should do it, some have an aging feature, guitar amp modellers, that kind of thing. You could also trigger vinyl static, crackle samples with your drums, or manuallly insert them.

+1 for Isotope Vinyl (don't overdo it: a bit of the the 'wear' parameter should be enough, plus an age setting of 1970 or 1980), used together with Sonalksis TBK 2, which has a nice downsampling function.
