I have some moniez to spend and would like to treat myself. I was thinking of the
pacifica (currently have gap pre 73) and a flea 47 (currently have
c414-xls,evre20,sm57,at2020) NOW, I dont really know about A/D convertors and
wondered if someone could give me a shout about them seeing as i allways get
good responses on this forum from you folks. I would guess that the a/d convertor is
built into my RME babyface as i have been using my current pre and mics ? do i need
to get a super duper one? I mean i dont mind im just wondering.
any
comments are welcome

The converters in the rme are pretty good and certainly not likely to be the week link in
the chain at this level. The Pacifica is a preamplifier with a lot of character. Useful
alternative to the cleaner preamps in the rme.
