should credit these guys as they worked very hard and I felt did a great job).

As I've just done the Myspace link thing, I may as well note that I've been running http://www.vrillion.net for a while
now. I got in on the Drupal thing way before Obama I think
it's a fair effort for a DIY local band site. I'm also working on a new version
of http://www.crystaljuggler.com which is my personal website. I've got
the new design all worked out, but haven't actually got round to slicing and dicing and
CSSing everything, and then I face the problem of what to actually blog about. The
challenge is in the construction, the maintenance and content is the boring bit.

Well, my site is extremely minimalist, and aimed simply at presenting my music as
accessibly as possible. However, if there is a claim to fame at all, it is that of being
entirely hand-coded. http:/www.musically.me.uk P.S. When I
chose that domain name I never seriously thought it would actually be available

hi there
heres mine - www.colinsmusic.com
put together by alans stepdad trevor
who charged 80 quid which i think is reasonable seeing as he also did the logo and soe
(search engine optimiezed) for the site so when you type in "colins music" our site comes
up on the first page of google
few tweeks needed (someone already mentioned
the 'leeaysing' typo) and trevor is working on inplementing a mp3 player so you can click
on a link and hear a track
we got it hosted for a good price too

No, leave it! Having just ONE word
correctly spelled on your site would destroy the whole post-postmodern vibe!

It's good for a Flash site - my only concern would be Search
Engines. At the moment, all they can see is the title of the page (and that the page
requires Flash 8+)
See: http://www.rexswain.com/httpview.html
Search engine spiders
don't use Flash, or Javascript, so if your content is all in Flash, they can't index it...

Thanks. I'm not really bothered
about search engines though. It's not like large production companies searches for
composers on Google and I can't imagine how I would manage to get in the top spots anyway.
I plan to give the link to people. I mean, who in this thread shows up in the Top 10
in Google when searching for "music", "producer", "composer", "CD" or anything similar?
None, I predict.

Well, I figure that if someone wants to download an mp3 @192kbps because they like the
music and want to make additional copies, have at it. And I'll be flattered. However, to
get a wav file or any higher res file, they're going to have to pay me directly. I'll be
happy to spin off up to 50 cd's a week or upload wav files to anyone who wants to pay for
it. I really don't believe that even 10 out of 100 people (including those in
the audio arts industry)can hear the differences even if they're AB'd back to back. That
said, if I were inclined to rip/download music from the web, for whatever purpose, I would
want the utmost in a dynamic representation of the music. But then, I'm only one in 10 of
a 100. A link to one of my bare-bones sites is in each one of my posts here on
the forums of SOS. I post it because I hope people will enjoy it. Not to see if I can make
sales. Cheerz!

THis is my site. Since this thread invites websites I dont think it is against the terms
to add my site here.
Ambient Music Garden.com All the other artists and myself sell royalty
free music there, so therefore, music not registered with PRS. It means we miss out on
performing royalties but then again we dont expect much of a return from PRS anyway.
Feedback gratefully received as always. I am constantly developing it and
changing it. I've given it a facelift recently but there is only so much you can do with
cart software before it costs the earth to develop things.
Thanks guys.
