Resetting a Mackie Control Universal in Logic

For some reason it's gone bonkers and won't let me reset it. The faders are controlling pan functions in Logic 8 and the master fader is right up to the top but showing -8dB in Logic

Any ideas?

Preferences -> Control surfaces -> Rebuild Defaults

You might also need to trash your control surface preferences, but see how it goes...
