I can't see the point of these things really. One good song is worth more than 100,000
crap songs. In fact, we could really do without them. It's like those 60 Minute Makeover
DIY shows where they have to staple the curtains up to get it done in time. Just do it
properly!

I don't think the point here is
to generate lots of songs, but to get into the habit of creating.
I think it's
fairly well accepted that the more you do something the better you get at it. This
exercise seems designed to try and counter the 'endless tinkering syndrome' that it's easy
to fall into.
That said, it's not for me. I enjoy tinkering endlessly!
