Liquid 56, Digi002 & Tools 9 new
      #1001652 - 03/08/12 04:08 PM
hi guys,

I've been happily running Protools 9 with my focusrite liquid 56 without any issues for a while now. A friend of mine just gave me a digi002 interface/controller for tools, while I have no interest in it as an audio interface, 8 faders would come in handy.

is it possible to hook both up to my mac pro without any negative effects? It has a couple of firewire ports and I'd heard daisy chaining firewire equipment works but i've no experience of it.

any light you could shed would be greatly appreciated! Remo

If you have a standard audio driver, it should be possible to set both up as an aggregate audio device. But it might be just as easy to link the Saffire to the Digi via their Adat connections and have the digi as the master. I'm not sure if the 002 is still supported though..

thanks for your reply, i'll investigate the ADAT a bit more as im currently running a Soundcraft digital desk into the liquid channel to utilise 16 of its inputs via ADAT
