Avantone ADM or e604 snare mic, anyone? new

All I have for mic'ing (miking?) a snare right now is SM58, SM58 knock offs, and a Sennheiser e609. I really like the sound of the e609 on the snare, but its polar pickup pattern causes a lot of hi-hat bleed.

My first thought was to buy a new e604 since its polar pattern has huge nulls in the high frequency ranges compared with the e609 or SM58, and it's a pretty highly regarded snare/drum mic as far as I know.

I really like the sound of the Avantone MONDO captured in the recordinghacks.com kick mic test, so I'm wondering if their ADM snare mic is any good. It's about the same price as a used e604. Anybody have any experience with the ADM? If not, I think I'll just spring for the e604.

No experience with the ADM but I don't like the look of the clip that it comes with - the modern Sennheiser clips seem to work well and the mics are usable on all kinds of things.

Edit - if you are on a tight budget don't rule out the Yoga tom/snare mics which are amazing for the price.

Thanks, James. I decided to take the safer play and go with the Sennheiser e604. Looks like those Yoga mics are a bit tough to find in the US, might have given them a try otherwise. So, after a few days waiting for shipping my home studio drum mic kit will be...

2x AKG Perception 220 for overheads
1x Sennheiser e604 on snare
1x Avantone MONDO on kick
1x Audio Technica AT202 room mic

Should do well enough for quality demo tracks. Will have to play with the MONDO and an SM58 to see the best (or my favorite, anyway) combo for batter head and reso head placement.

Would still love to hear anybody's input on the Avantone snare and tom mics if you have used them
