phone ripping new

I have a nice little 50quid phone, Nokia 210.
Does me fine and has a neat voice recorder in it but try as I may I cannot find a method of dumping sound files off it via the usb connection.

I can copy them off in real time of course but this takes ages and ties up me phone!

Can this be done?

Thanks Richie,
I already have the Nokia suite supplied with the phone and cannot see a "dump" function in that.
I have downloaded the one from the link however so I will have a hack!

Quite often mobile telphones appear as a storage device in windows explorer

Browse to the offending folder, then copy and paste to your PC

Thanks Greg! Tried this yesterday and it worked! I swear it did NOT work a month or so ago.

There is a snag however, the recorder uses .amr files and nothing will open them. Tried Samplitude, WMP, Reaper, Audacity, (V suprised that wouldn't). I did find Switch Sound File Converter so I did it in the end but I would prefer a straight player and dump to .wav.

I tend to use VLC which seems to be able to play most things

Have a look here and make your choice
