mic hire in glasgow new

Hi does anyone know of anywhere that does microphone hire in Glasgow? I'm looking for decent mic's for Orchestra's i.e. need to be condensers and would be good to get some omni's

You could try "THE WAREHOUSE"

Otherwise - Richmond Film Services - I know a long way away but their prices are the lowest.

they have loads of different stuff, well priced too. you can be sneaky and get an extra day for free if you are due to bring the stuff back on sundays cause its shut!! Its down near the old Govan Town Hall, just a few minutes walk from the underground

if i remember correctly you have to open an account with them to hire from them- this only involves giving some sort of bank details and they take a photograph as well

I'll also suggest The Warehouse. Decent rates, good equipment, really good service...

They also have a large yard to park in, if you drive. A real bonus and much preferred to loading on-street.
