Finding saved sounds in ipad

As I am new to the ipad, I have created loops and recordings from sounds in music apps but
I have no way of seeing them saved in itunes. I have saved them but can't find them. Is there some folder I need to find as I have looked everywhere?

This varys from app to app, but most apps that allow file transfer usually do it via
iTunes.. When you dock your iPad, click on the "Apps" tab and scroll down to where you can
see the list of apps.. when you click on the app you want, the box in the middle should
show you the file storage for that particular app. You should be able to drag and drop
from here

Sorry, I don't get you. I go to the app store and click on "purchased" which brings a list
of all my apps. Nothing is telling me where my sounds are if I click on any of them.

No.. in iTunes on your host PC.. click on the iPad when "docked" that will then show you
the sync settings for the iPad in the centre.. click on the "Apps" tab and then you will
see the apps list. From there click on the App to show the documents related to that
app. There is a good tutorial here

Ok, I have done that but for instance, I save my Impaktor drum loops that are showing in
itunes as wav files on the ipad to my PC. When I look in the PC destination folder the
files have not gone across as wav files and they are all 0kb.
I have no idea
why.

Hmmm That is quite strange.. I will attempt to replicate it but I am using a Mac.. I'll
try and experiment with it on a Windows machine

Did you manage to find out what my problem is ? I find find any audio in iTunes, even
songs I have imported from my pc. I find iTunes very user unfriendly in general.

[when you connect your iPad to your PC and start iTunes - click on the device (the iPad
icon) now in iTunes you should see the summary screen - and a menu bar at the top click on the 'apps' menu (second 1) scroll down to file sharing and click on the
app and then click on the folder/files you want to share and save as should be ok] I'm presuming you've done the above??..... what is exactly in your 'save as'
destination??

It shows as a Wav on the app icon's info when clicked but saves as a file
"bounce-11_10_2012 00" with zero bytes.

iTunes is the biggest pile of excrement
known to man. I never use it if I can help it. Some apps (eg GarageBand, korg electribe)
let you post to soundcloud. And GarageBand lets you email your files.

Hi Ian,
Have you tried the developers website?
FWIW, I never use
iTunes and have never connected my iPad to my PC.
