Logic Express 8 question new

Hello,

I'm currently using Logic Express 8 on a iMac (using Firewire Solo M-Audio)

I have separate audio and instrument tracks already recorded, within the same project - these tracks are nylon guitar, voice, percussion, etc.

Let's say I have my nylon guitar track, which is just over 3 minutes. Is it possible to apply a specific effect(i.e Reverb or Directional Mixer) or amplify the signal during 10 seconds(or whatever time I need) on that track?

Why not?

Just open the manual and start reading about track automation.
