I've got two bands of sorts on Myspace. Even if no-one seems to promote their music on there any more the links still work so I'd appreciate it if people might give us a listen.

That's Never A Real Horse
(very silly dance music - kind of like Monty Python after a drinking session with Kraftwerk and Tiesto)
www.myspace.com/thatsneverarealhorse55

Planet Bliss
(classic if slightly dated synthpop in a St Etienne/ Pet Shop Boys kinda vibe)

I wonder if this will become a 'Save Our Myspace' campaign. I have fond thoughts about MySpace, it really gets some stick, and deservedly so, but in it's defence, it was the first to give musicians a global audience, and it's social side was in existence long before FaceSpace. Maybe it deserves another chance now Murdoch has thought better of it and passed it on.

Anyway, it looks like this forum is a case of 'you show me yours and I'll show you mine'....

These are pop tunes whereby I try to write something that is sort of uptempo in the main, but has things to say too. Am just tryign to get this established intro/verse/chorus/bridge/mid8/alt verse/chorus on the outro where we all do the Hokey Cokey sort of thing

All these arguments on which website to put music on,I'm old enough to remember buying a wad of cassette tapes, padded jiffy bags, postage and hope for the best, did anyone actually listen to them? probably not! Never had it so good in this day of electronic communication! So click on myspace, click music and type in john monaghan. (a lot easier than the prehistoric days!)

I used to get a regular 100+ plays each day, then MySpace decided to jazz the site up, and in the process I lost my ID, MySpace were apologetic, but unhelpful, completely useless, it worked great, they handed a fully functional, popular and worthy site on a plate to Facebook, must be one of the biggest goofs in history and surely a salutory lesson referring to that ancient wisdom - if it works, don't even contemplate it!

OK, Myspace is not working. When I click on the link (or any link to Myspace, it comes up saying that it is an Untrusted site, it also says in the technical data - myspace.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate has expired. (Error code: sec_error_expired_issuer_certificate)

What's up?
