Some regulation changed a little, and the three year old machine's design no longer
completely complies, so Apple will stop supplying them to EU suppliers.
As
Apple have already said, there should be some replacement for the Mac Pro coming in 2013
anyway, so in practical terms it hardly means the sky is falling, particularly as EU
suplliers will likely still have inventory which they can still sell.

Apple is in favour of
Hackintosh building. It's their way out of the unwanted personal computer/workstation
business, without causing their computer users to be out on a limb when Mac is finally
retired. They won't openly admit to it though.

I highly doubt that, particularly stated factually like that. They do not tent to like
anything that loses them control over their products and the experience. I'm not saying
the Hackintosh community gives them sleepless nights - it's a tiny community after all -
but I highly doubt they are in favour of it.
