The Second Annual "Hit Like A Girl" female drumming contest officially opened for entries today. DRUM! Magazine, one of the main sponsors, conducted a press conference about it during this year's NAMM Show. I think this event is important as it gives female drummers an opportunity to be recognized.

Round my way drummers are desperately needed. Dozens of 'Drummer wanted' posters on the notice boards at music shops, but no 'Drummer available' ones.

Drummers have always been in demand round our way Wombat. Must be at least five guitarists for every drummer.

Exactly. + girl drummers are cool. I often find they approach the instrument with more finesse than their male counterparts.

I thinks that was not a good idea using the girls in drums.It would better to use boys here.However it's amazing .Hope to enjoy this by all.
