Hi everyone. I have a hiss which starts every time I paly any audio sound in my PC. I am using asio drivers with a cakewalk/edirol UA-25EX interface on windows 32 bit. The noise stops a second or so after the audio. Any ideas? Thanks .

Out of interest, what speakers are you using? I've encountered this before, but only when the speakers were powering an internal amplifier up and down as sound was detected, rather than coming from the interface itself.

Could you try perhaps connecting it to the AUX in put of a HiFi and seeing if it still happens?
