How can I link a second monitor from iMac G5 ??? (Split screen) new

Hi there,

Just wanted to know how it is possible to connect a second monitor from an iMac G5 ?

I've heard that you could go in the system in someway and add this fonction in the preferences ,(OSX)?

Is that true ?

If this is possible and working well , this would definitely be the reason I would buy one !

Thanks for any of you Mac experts out there !

there is a hack that allows this for ibooks.. (something about reconfigering or replacing the display driver) it might be possible to so something similar on the imac, but so far, I didn't heard about this yet..

I think you can only mirror with the included adaptor.

I use the above utility/hack on my G5 iMac, and also my old eMac. Works perfectly, but you will need the VGA adaptor cable from Apple. Those are around £16
