Am I right in thinking? new

I am looking at an M-Audio 1814 which is 18ins and 14 outs... 8 of the outs are ADAT

If I then connect to something like a behringerADA8000 will this convert the 8 ADAT channels to Analogue?

Yes, thinking is definitely the right thing, I tend to do it all the time ;-)

Yes the ada8000 will give you eight analogue outs. I don't know what that interface is capable of, but the ada will only handle 44.1 or 48khz sample rates.

Mmm, depends what he's thinking tho Ben ... if he's thinking, "I know I'll have a nice cup of tea and maybe a sticky bun (it is friday after all!)" then fair enough. But if he's thinking, "THEY'RE ALL TALKING ABOUT ME BEHIND MY BACK EVEN MY PARENTS I KNOW THEY ARE I'LL SHOW THEM I'LL SHOW THEM WHERE'S MY UZI ... AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK- ... A-HA SEE? NOW I AM ALIVE!!!!!" Then perhaps thinking should be limited in this case?
