      #128492 - 12/05/05 09:37 PM
After my recent contraversial post regarding....."what would YOU buy if you were spending 10k to upgrade your studio"

I thought id do a follow up with some piccies.....as ive now purchased all my stuff...gonna post up some piccies as i finalise the studio build in a bit of a diary hehe its been fun....(not to mention the delivery WOES but ill save that for a time when ive got enought energy to rant on for hours suffice it to say it ended up in "the company" forking out 400 quid for a courier same day...)

anyhow heres the short of it:

Carillon Dual Xeon Nocona Custom build
Genelec 8050A's x 2
Mackie Control Universal
Hartmann Neuron VS
Roland V-Synth XT Rack
Allen & Heath VF1 Filter
Loadsa midi and Audio cables
The Appropriate Stands
1k on Various Acoustic Treatment
Ivory White Leather Sofa
12000 BTU Aircon Unit...(brr)
Fatar 88Key Keyboard (Christ this is a nice keyb but is the worst looking, and has the most crap plastic on it EVER i mean its like a shopping basket from aldi!)
NI Kontakt 2

Well there we have it...if theres one thing i have learnt from all this......money goes quickly even when you get ridiculous discounts for bulk buying!!!

...oh and yes i bought well 8k(after discount) of the stuff from one firm, well a firm that dont normally do all the stuff but i was getting one important thing from them and they agreed to source the rest of the kit for me...overall discount i got was around 15% off the total price...which is a lot when ure spending a lot....dont know how that works out but its about 9500 RRP...for 8k.....heafty!!
