If it's out of tune then autotune can drag it back into line, but not without sounding
unnatural. If it's just a bad vocal sound then no you're stuck with that. But it's worth
trying a few mics. A lot of the common mics around sound ok with most people, but if a
singer has say a nasal sound you might find trying a different mic helps. My personal
favourite for a lot of stuff is the Beyer M201, but the more expensive Sennheiser
Evolution series mics are very good and worth a look.
